Captain Kids!

Several students throughout the school went on a field trip to Captain Kids Family Fun Centre!The Centre provides indoor playground fun.  An enjoyable way to participate in daily physical activity.

Buddy Reading

Each week, some of the older classes join the younger classes to buddy read.  The focus is on literacy, shared reading strategies, enjoyment of books and positive interaction throughout the grades!  Parents are encouraged to ask their child(ren) if he/she has a buddy and what they like best about reading!

Salmon Eggs and Ecology

Last week 75 salmon eggs were placed in Mrs. Sepal-Kohout’s fish tank.  The students worked out the math and the eggs should begin to wiggle and hatch around February 14th.
