I returned to work today to an amazing gift! A little tidbit about me that you may or may not know is that I love frogs. Weird, I know! But for some reason they have always played a role in my life showing up at odd times throughout my journey. So when I returned to school today after a teary goodbye to my boys I was overwhelmed to see that each and every single class had created a bulletin board covered in frog art welcoming me back! As Mrs. Driver and Ms. Eberle explained to me what had happened I stood in the school foyer and cried. How lucky am I to belong to such an amazing community who would take the time to create something so special for me on what was a very hard day. From my understanding Ms. Young and Mrs. Parsons were leaders in the making of this great gift and I cannot thank them and all of the staff and students enough for such a welcome. My heart is full. Feeling so happy to be back.
