1.Soap Carving

Division 8 began carving bars of soap into boats this week. It was great to see all of the students so engaged and careful with the tools. The students are excited about doing a good job so they can move into working with real wood!

2. Planting Potatoes

Mrs. Jackson’s and Ms. Wendell’s classes went together to the garden to plant potatoes this week.

3. Pumpkin Carving

Mrs. Randa’s class was busy carving a giant class pumpkin this week and one of our SEA’s Ms. Homan made a video that is super fun.

5. Halloween Carnival

What a great day for the kids today! They had so much fun in the gym playing carnival games, winning prizes and eating popcorn! Yum! A huge thank you to Mrs. Hamilton for organizing this event again this year and another big thank you to all of the parents who came to volunteer to make it all come together. We are so lucky at LMCS to have such great parent support, making all of these events happen for kids :O
