Taekwondo

This week we were very lucky to have teachers from Rahn’s Academy teaching our students some self defense moves in gym class. Students really enjoyed their time and the instructor commented on how well behaved our students were! Happy kids and a proud principal! Thank you to Mrs. Erickson for organizing all of these extra opportunities for our kids to try new activities.

Staff Meeting Learning

We are super lucky to have had a math instructor from UBC come to our staff meeting this week for her second visit. The staff has chosen a math goal this year as a school wide focus so we are busy learning new practices that will better enable us as teachers to guide our students in their learning.
