1. Mrs. Watson/Tulloch’s class presented their research projects on an animal of their choice. The students were required to undertake research to find their facts and then orally present their discoveries to the whole group. Great work, Grade One!
2. Track and Field
The grade 4’s and 5’s are busy getting ready for track and field. They have been practicing long jump, high jump, ball toss, meter running and more!
3. Diabetes Donation Bin
You will notice that a Diabetes Donation Bin has been placed at the front of our school in support of the Diabetes Foundation. If you have gently used items, this would be a good place to drop them off.

4. Rock Sculptrues
Mrs. Watson/Tulloch’s class were busy this week building Inukshuk’s, it was difficult choosing which special rocks they wanted to have to build their special sculpture.
5. Bowling
Some of the Grade One Classes went bowling this past week and it looks like it was great fun!
6. Staff Appreciation Tea
Thank you to all of the parents who gathered together last week to beautifully decorate the gym for a very special luncheon for the staff. Thank you to all of the parents who made food for this wonderful event, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all! It was very nice being celebrated and we appreciate you taking the time to host such a special tea just for us :O) Thank you to Mrs. Syme for being the key point person.
