- Heritage Fair
Langley Meadows students presented their Heritage Fair projects this week at the provincial Heritage Fair at The University of the Fraser Valley. We were proud to have them represent our school with such meaningful projects based on topics like Women and the Vote, the Canadian Space Arm, the RCMP, Canadian Coins, Chris Hadfield, World War Two, Woman in Parliament, the Katzie First Nations, Hell’s Gate Fraser Canyon, British Monarchy in Canada, Refugees Seeking Safety in Canada, Irish Immigrants to Canada, Canadian Coins, and the Canadian Maple Leaf.
2. Kilometer Club
The students are in full force and doing an amazing job! They are running laps like crazy and chalking up the kilometers every day on their way to a half or full marathon. Many of the staff are also participating and it’s so great to see them out there!
3. Jump Rope For Heart
So proud to announce that our school community raised over $5400 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation!! Thank you for your generosity.
4. 3 P’s Party
A perfect Friday requires 3 P’s: pajamas, popcorn and a party! The students of division 6 earned a reward this afternoon for all of their hard work.
