Jordan’s Principle
This week students brought teddy bears to school to decorate in honor of Jordan River Anderson, a young boy who died in hospital care while the provincial and federal government disputed who was responsible for paying for his care upon his release from the hospital. Students also wrote letters to the Prime Minister asking him to take action in regards to fair and equal health care for all children. On Thursday, May 10th the students participated in a Teddy Bear Parade honoring the date that Jordan’s Principle was passed in legislation. A big thank you to Ms. Moir for organizing and leading this important learning event for our students. Please see document below for more information.
