Diversity and Respect Week
This year the school district has decided to build upon pink shirt day and have a week of activities around kindness. Of course we do this all year long but having it in the forefront of our minds for a week was important. Classes read stories and did lessons all week around diversity, kindness and respect.
Pink Shirt Day
Wednesday we all wore pink to remind us that bullies aren’t cool or allowed!
Simple Machines
Mrs. Brenneman’s class is busy learning about Rube Goldberg’s machines and simple machines.
Jump Rope For Heart
Today was the kick off assembly for the JRFH discussing how important the heart and stroke foundation is. As many of you know this is foundation is close to my heart as my mom has had open heart surgery and a quadruple bi-pass. I am so thankful that we raise funds for this important research.
