1. Ready Set Learn

This week was this years first RSL session for children aged 3-5. Children and caregivers were able to play at different stations learning about nursery rhymes and songs. The next session is on February 16th and its all about playing with numbers. We hope you will join us. RSL poster 2015

2. ipads

Mrs. S-K’s class has been busy every day this week teaching Mrs. McArthur’s Kindergarten class all about QR codes and the ins and outs of the ipads. Students have learned how to use the QR code app to scan codes around the room to access storybooks which they then listened to on the ipad. Along with that they have learned how to carry the ipad, find the app, plug in headphones, scan the QR code and so much more. Thank you Mrs. S-K and Mrs. S-K’s students for sharing your knowledge.

3. Crazy Hair Day

So much fun and so much creativity! Thanks for taking part LMCS students and staff.

4. Langley Environmental Partners Society

This week division 11 learned about reusing and recycling. The class had fun singing, sorting and playing games.

5. Trinity Western University Student Nurses

Over the next few months student nurses from TWU will be teaching health lessons every Thursday in LMCS classes. Students will learn about various topics. Here division 11 is learning about hand washing.

6. Upcoming Day Camps

LMCA is hosting Full Day Camps for the Feb 20th and May 1st pro d days.  And also for Spring Break, March 16 – 27. You do not have to be registered in the MOOSC program already to join us. Simply get a form from the office or stop by MOOSC daycare for a form.
