Inline skating
We are happy to welcome back Tyler from Coastal Inline Skating. Every year our kids learn new skills and have more fun! Tyler was here all of this week and will be back next week as well. Thank you to all of the parents who have been able to come out and help with getting the kids all geared up!
Valentine’s Crafts
Ms. Clipsham’s class is getting ready for the great card hand out!

The Giant Map
Ms. Moir’s class had the opportunity to use a giant floor map of Canada (17′ x 13′) for several weeks. This map was made following the Canada C3 (coast to coast to coast) expedition around Canada’s three coastlines to celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation. The Canada C3 Education Team and Canadian Geographic Education created the map, along with learning activities, following the expedition. They wanted to share this experience with students across Canada. Students were encouraged to investigate our country’s coastlines, indigenous communities and protected areas. It was quite an amazing experience for the children to “walk” around Canada, trace the 25,000 km, 180 day voyage aboard an icebreaker from Toronto to Victoria, and learn more about their country.
TWU Student Nurses
The nurses were back again this Thursday talking to the various grades about “Private Body Areas” and Puberty for the older classes. Here Mrs. O’Keefe’s class is coloring the areas on a body that are covered by a swimsuit that are private.
