1. After School Baking Club
The kids were busy this week making, french toast, pigs in a blanket and s’mores! Yum! Thank you Mrs. Yachuk and Mrs. Robinson for giving us your time for after school clubs :O)
2. Parent Helpers
It makes my heart so happy as I walk around the school in the mornings and see all of the parents helping with home reading. Thank you for taking the time out of your very busy schedules to listen to kids read. It shows them that we value reading and their efforts to learn this incredible skill.
3. Christmas Tree
A group of LMCS students visited the Country Noble Christmas Tree Farm this week and picked the perfect tree for our school office. The students took turns helping cut it down and got it all set up in the office! It looks and smells wonderful. At the end of the school year, before the Christmas break, the tree will be donated to one of our LMCS families for their enjoyment over the season.
4. Christmas Spirit
It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas! Students and staff are busy getting ready for the season decorating, learning songs for the concert and more!
5. Gingerbread Man
Exciting times in the Kindergarten wing this week when the gingerbread man they had baked disappeared! The students searched the school and found him partially eaten in their big buddies classroom! Naughty Gingerbread man!
6. Santa Sale
This week the students had an opportunity to purchase a gift for their family. The students took great care in picking just the right gift! It was fun to see. The sale raised $638.69! All of these funds will go to help support families in our community during the holiday season. Thank you for your generosity and a huge thank you to Ms. Moir, Ms. Grondahl, Ms Stadnik and Mrs. Lee for all of your efforts in organizing this day.
