Math thinking

Mrs. Boyce’s class dreamed of snowmen during their watercolour art lesson this week. They are also continuing to explain their mathematical thinking as they were challenged to make a creation in a limited time and then explain it to their classmates during the “gallery walk.”

SFU Student Teachers

As you know for the past few years we have hosted the sfu teacher training program here at Langley Meadows. SFU uses our portable space and works with student teachers, training to be teachers. As part of their training they become part of our school, helping and learning in classrooms. A brand new group of 33 student teachers started on Monday and this Thursday they volunteered in classroom for the morning to begin to see what we do each day! We love having them as part of our school community as they inspire us to be our best each say ans share how much we love our profession.
