Ms. Moirs class brought teddy bears to school last week in recognition of Jordan’s Principle. Jordan, a First Nations Child with serious medical conditions spent two years of his life in hospital while the federal government made decisions around who should pay for at home care.  Sadly, he died at age 5 before a decision was made.  Jordan’s Principle was unanimously passed in the House of Commons in 2007.  Thank you to our students who showed empathy and care.
