Throughout the year, students have had many opportunities to learn about Aboriginal Language & Culture through presentations by Carmen, our District Liaison.  Students are keen to learn through story and hands on activities.  Curriculum is evolving and we are fortunate to have an expert on site to share and include information about Aboriginal people, perspectives and understandings.  With the education transformation, the province has a goal to embed Aboriginal perspectives into all parts of the curriculum in an effort to improve Aboriginal student success and achievement.
