1. Sports Day

Thank you to all of the staff and parents who made Sports Day happen last week. It was a busy day to say the least but it was an awesome day for the kids.

2. Science Fair

The grade 6 students showcased all of their science experiments and wowed all of the students who came to check out the projects. So many good inquiry questions explored!

3. Kilometer Club

Kilometer club was a huge success again this year! A majority of the kids participated and completed either a half marathon or a full marathon! The students were recognized and celebrated at an assembly last week. Students received a certificate for a half and/or full marathon and the full marathon students received a marathon t shirt! It was nice to see many of them wearing their t-shirts the following day :O)

4. Fire House

The primary students had a visit from the fire department last week talking to them about how to safely escape from their house in case of a fire. Thank you to the fire hall for spending three full days with us teaching the kids about fire safety.

5. Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Parents from Mrs. Richardson’s class made the kids a special grilled cheese sandwich lunch last week! The kids and adults alike were thrilled (who doesn’t love grilled cheese!)
