1. Santa’s Workshop
On Tuesday the students had a chance to purchase a secret gift for their parents, siblings or anyone special. All of the items were donated to Langley Meadows and all of the money raised went back to purchasing Christmas gifts and food items for Langley Meadows families. It was a win-win for everyone involved! Thank you Ms. Anderson for the gift, Mrs. Moir, Mrs. Farrer, Ms. Villeneuve for making it happen and to all of our grade 7’s for being great leaders.
2. Gingerbread Houses
Many classes this week had lessons in architecture…okay it involved icing, cookies and candies but is there any better kind of lesson! Thank you to all of the family members who came into help as it is tricky business getting all of those walls to stay together, especially when most of the construction materials are being nibbled on!
3. Hot chocolate and Christmas books
Mrs. Randa’s class ended the week by having hot chocolate and reading Christmas stories, what a nice tradition. Thank you to the family members who were able to join the class.
4. Reindeer Hair
One of our students, Brianna, really showed the Christmas spirit by turning her hair into Rudolph! Awesome!
5. Did someone say bedazzle?!
Some of the staff also wanted to get into the Christmas spirit so out came the glue guns and glitter! Wow was the comment of the day!
6. We have had a great school year so far and I am so thrilled to be part of the Langley Meadows community. It’s been a full year now for me at LM and I couldn’t be happier. You are all such amazing families who take care of each other and that is a rare gift. Enjoy the time together during the Christmas Season.
