1. Anti Bullying Day:
Although this is an important topic that we think about and review each day at school and at home, Wednesday we wore pink as a reminder to be kind to each other and accept each other just as we are! Classrooms had in-depth conversations about what are bullying behaviors, what are by standers and how we can all stop these actions. It is so important to have these dialogues with our children each day. Mrs. Schmit had the great idea of making a pink peace sign, using the kids, for a photograph! Thank you to Mrs. Roxburgh for taking the photo.
2. Friday Afternoon Bootcamp:
Each Friday afternoon the Grade 7 students come to the gym to work out! Students work at stations in small groups for a designated amount of time and then rotate to the next station. There is great music playing and the kids are working out hard! They are going to be super fit with healthy hearts in no time…plus they will look fine by grad! Thank you to Ms. Villeneuve and Ms. Mathison for keeping the kids motivated!

3. Inside days:
What do you do with almost 600 kids on a rainy day, you ask? Well Division 2 tried to break hula hoop world records! One of our grade 7 students impressed us with his ability to keep 15 hula hoops going all at the same time!
4. Early Morning Reading Time:
Each Wednesday morning Division 15 invites parents, older siblings, and past students to read together over a cup of hot chocolate. What a great way for the students to gain reading skills in a relaxed format and a special way for family to be involved :O)
